City's Churches Featured In New Book On Old Chattanooga

The churches of Chattanooga will be featured in a new book of old Chattanooga photos. It will include some still standing as well as many that were demolished. One of the most ornate to fall was the First Baptist Church at Oak and Georgia Avenue. It was designed by R.H. Hunt and made of pink sandstone.
