Red Sauce And Southside Pizza Are New Chattanooga Eateries

Thursday, October 5, 2017

Red Sauce, a new restaurant with the same owners as the Cuban restaurant Embargo and Ceniza on Bradmore Lane in Ooltewah, is opening at 14 West Kent St. in North Chattanooga. On Thursday, it was approved for a license to sell beer.

Andrew Platt, the corporate chef for the company, described the restaurant as an Italian/American eatery with focus on the food and ambiance. There will be live entertainment with music in an open air venue, he said.

Chattanooga Southside Pizza is another restaurant, which received a permit to sell beer at 612 East Main St.

It is being opened by the owners of Slicks, also located on Main Street, which has been open since 2013 with no violations, said Robert Peterson, representing Southside Pizza.
