5th Annual Central Alumni Golf Tournament Set For Sept. 30

The fifth annual Central Alumni Golf Tournament at Bear Trace Golf Course in Harrison will be Saturday, Sept. 30.

There will be a light breakfast, and registration and putting green availability at 7 a.m. Shotgun start will be at 8 a.m.

Lunch will begin at noon with trophies and door prizes. Cost is $100 per player/$400 per team, and one can pay at registration and credit/debit cards will be accepted. 

The event is open to everyone, not just alumni. More teams, players, and sponsors are needed.

All proceeds go to the Alumni Association to support student/faculty/athletic needs not provided by the School Board or County Commission. The Alumni also funds 12 scholarships each year to deserving seniors.

Tournament Sponsorship $2,500.00 - includes two teams and tee, hole and cart signs, signage st registration

Purple Sponsorship - $1,000.00 - includes one team and hole sign, signage at registration

Gold Sponsorship $500.00 - one team and signage at registration

Hole Sponsor - $150.00

Tee Sponsor - $100.00

Cart Sponsor - $50.00

Hole In One Contest - $5,000.00 to player/$5,000.00 to Association

Closest to pin - $100.00

Longest drive - $100.00

Putting contest - Pay $5.00 each putt for multiple attempts to make a 25 foot putt - win $50.00 cash each time the putt is made, beginning at 7:00 am

Great door prizes and lots of them

Mulligans - $5.00 each, limit 4 per player

Jury Clears Juvenile Judge Philyaw Of Discrimination Charge In Dismissal Of Openly Gay Magistrate

Attorney Elliott Says City Council Action On Mountain Creek Zoning Case "Highly Irregular And Highly Illegal"

Why Can't Someone Unstop The Water Buildup Problem At The I-24 Cummings Highway Exit? - And Response

Exit 174 on westbound Interstate 24 is closed again as is the westbound entrance ramp. Cummings Highway is shut as well. I inquired at TDOT on Dec. 28, 2015, why this continues to happen.
