Morning Pointe Residents Show Off Their Team Pride For Football Season

Wednesday, October 10, 2018

Football season is in full swing, and no one is more passionate about the sport than the residents of Morning Pointe of Hixson. Although they might disagree over which team is number one, everyone at the senior living community celebrates their love of football together.

“Here at Morning Pointe of Hixson, football season is a big deal! All week long, residents and associates talk about how their football teams are doing.

On Saturday, everyone wears their team colors with pride!” said Christine Rivers, the Life Enrichment director at Morning Pointe of Hixson.

Although fans of rival football teams rarely agree, Ms. Rivers fondly describes how she and other Morning Pointe associates were able to convince the residents, regardless of their team affiliation, to pose together in one photo. She said, “For one moment, we decided to take those individual teams and create ‘one big, happy family.’”
