The Mocs total was one clear of Iowa in eighth. Francis Marion and Gardner-Webb rounded out the top 10. Wofford ended up 11th, while Western Carolina tied for 12th.

The day began the right way with three birdies on the par 5 sixth hole, the opener in a shotgun start. The quintet was still E through their fifth hole before a birdie drought lasted 10 holes before a trio – Johnson, Porter and Brault – broke through on three. They dropped 17 shots over that span before ending the morning 18 in 10th at 304.

They turned it around in the afternoon. Johnson and Brault shot matching 73s to pace the team’s 298. It came with a slower start, but steadier play overall. UTC shot 5-over on both its nines.

No. 17 Arkansas ran away with the team title shooting nine under. That was 17 better than the second-place duo of Georgia and Kennesaw State at +8. The Razorbacks shared medalist honors between Alvaro Ortiz and Luis Garza with 3-under 141.
