Chattanooga Christian Baseball Tops East Hamilton 8-4

  • Chattanooga Christian claimed an 8-4 victory on Saturday, despite a big push by East Hamilton in the fourth inning.
    Blaine Savage and Josh Brown had RBIs in the inning.
  • John Rhodes drove in a run for CCS in the first inning when he doubled.
  • The Chargers scored four times in the Fourth, led by hits from Chase McBryar and Nathanael Kapp.
  • Cole Headrick got the victory on the mound for CCS, while giving up five hits and four runs over five innings. He struck out three.
  • Rhodes and Kapp pitched in relief.
  • CCS also got hits from Weston Gilbert, Taylor Anand, Amos Davenport and Colt Sinor.
  • Brown and Mitch Dennis had multiple hits for East Hamilton. Dennis was 3 for 3.
  • In an earlier game on Saturday, CCS lost 19-15 to Gwinnett.
  • Both teams had 17 hits.

Boyd Buchanan Expands Lacrosse Coaching Staff With Pat Wagner

Boyd Buchanan Lacrosse program has added to its senior coaching staff with the addition of Pat Wagner. Mr. Wagner and Chris Richardson will coach the high school Lacrosse team, with assistant coach Steve Frost. Boyd Buchanan Lacrosse began in the middle school with Chris Richardson as head coach. Rainout Forces Lookouts To Play Two Games Monday Beginning At 5:15 P.M.
