7 Men, Including A Validated Gang Member, Arrested On Drug Charges

Six men were arrested on drug complaints after the Chattanooga Police Department's Narcotics Unit with the assistance of CPD's Street Crimes Team conducted a search of a home in the 2000 block of Museum Street. While conducting that search, CPD officers observed marijuana plants at a nearby home in the same block of Museum Street and arrested another man on drug charges.

Upon execution of the May 11 search warrant CPD officers found more than 400 grams of marijuana, ecstasy pills, a stolen pistol, and $2,469 in cash. At the second location, officers found 139 marijuana plants, 945 grams of marijuana, and three firearms.

All seven men were taken into custody without incident. The men arrested and charges associated with each are as follows:

Kasey Knox, 42

Possession of marijuana for resale, drug paraphernalia, and outstanding warrant

Earnest Ross, 68

Possession of marijuana for resale, drug paraphernalia, manufacturing marijuana, and possession of a firearm
