Erlanger Health System offers free, weekly smoking cessation classes
Weekly on Tuesday through Thursday, Erlanger Health System offers smoking cessation classes for free at multiple locations. The classes begin at 4:30 p.m. and usually last an hour. Erlanger East, North and Baroness Hospitals offer the weekly courses. For more information or to enroll in a class, please call 778-7745 or 778-3009. 

Support Group meeting for Metabolic and Bariatric patients
Erlanger Health System’s Metabolic and Bariatric Center is offering a support group meeting on Monday. The meeting, ran by Elizabeth O’Brien will focus on the theme “Getting ready for a new season, mind and body.” The support group will meet at Siskin Hospital for Physical Rehabilitation in the Outpatient Conference room from 5:30-6:30 p.m. For more information call 778-2906. 

Erlanger East offers free Living Well Yoga classes
Erlanger Health System’s Living Well classes are now offering Yoga at Erlanger East Hospital. Come roll out a mat with Certified Health Coach, Christine Smith, and get your weekly dose of yoga. Erlanger’s Monogrammed Maternity Class offers Moms-to-be personalized birth plans
Erlanger Health System’s Monogrammed Maternity class provides a personalized approach to childbirth education tailored to a couple’s unique needs. This one-on-one session with a Prenatal Educator enables couples to privately discuss their personalized birth plans, begin the admission process, visit with a lactation consultant, and ask questions that make the birth experience less stressful. Erlanger Women’s Services offers Breastfeeding Support Group
Erlanger Women’s Services department hosts monthly breastfeeding support groups at Erlanger Baroness and Erlanger East Hospitals. Attendees will meet with other breastfeeding and pregnant mothers to discuss struggles, techniques and provide support to one another during what can be a difficult time for a new mom. Topics, facilitated by a certified lactation consultant, include how to get off to a good start in the hospital, handling common challenges, incorporating dad and tips for success at home. This class is open to women no matter where they choose to deliver. The next classes are scheduled for Oct. 2, 9 and 16. For more information, please visit www.erlanger.org/classes

Erlanger Kidney Transplant Clinic at the Chattanooga Market
On Sunday Erlanger Kidney Transplant Clinic representatives will be at the Chattanooga Market. Multiple staff members and physicians will be on hand to meet and greet shoppers. There will be information available at the booth highlighting the services offered by fellowship-trained, board certified physicians as well as organ donor information.

Saturday Sports Injury Walk-In Clinic at Erlanger

Erlanger Sports and Health Institute announces Saturday Sports Injury Walk-In Clinic hours new through November 7. The clinic is open every Saturday from 8 a.m. to 11 a.m. and is located at 1100 East 3rd Street, Suite G-102. You do not have to be an established patient to utilize the walk-in services.
